Colour and Light: Last few days

The longest day has come and gone. Summer is here and it is the final week of Country Frames Gallery Colour and Light Spring exhibition. Open Tues to Sat 10am to 5pm. For me, Colour and Light brings together well known images in the Skyline series beside new work for 2026 as part of the Fragile Earth series. Sharp silhouettes of familiar forms of the Insch skyline contrast with the softer layers and restricted palette of Fragile Earth.

It is so interesting to see work presented along side that of other local artists, exploring common themes and finding our own ways to make sense of the landscapes we live within.

Exhibition closes this Saturday (27th June) but Country Frames Gallery will fill the walls with the next selection of artistic joy. Leslie, Insch, AB52 6PA
