Spring Brings New Hope original watercolour was painted in 2026 as a commission for the Bennachie Visitor Centre annual calendar. Inspired by the view of Bennachie from Insch, where three of the main tops Oxencraig, Craigshannoch and, in the background, Mither Tap align. The lower slopes lighting up as the spring sunshine catches the bright yellow of gorse and broom.
Original exhibited as part of the Spring Exhibition, Country Frames Gallery, Leslie 2026.
